Mt. Pleasant Club Whiskey Harvard Street Smoke Single Malt comes from Reboot Beverages, a Washington, DC company dedicated to reviving forgotten pre Prohibition whiskey brands. The inspiration began when an original Mt. Pleasant Club Whiskey bottle, dating to the early 1900s, was discovered hidden in the roof of a Mount Pleasant row house on 19th Street NW. Research traced the brand to William D. Barry's Reliable Family Liquor Store at 2024 14th Street NW, where Mt. Pleasant Club Whiskey was sold until Prohibition ended its run. Today, each limited release is named after a historic neighborhood street, celebrating the history, people, and culture of Mount Pleasant while bringing a piece of Washington's whiskey heritage back to life.
